The activity is organized by the Regional Authority of Kyustendil and is part of the SECOVIA project - South East Europe jointly developed COmmon advanced VIrtual Accessibility solutions to support public services.

The purpose of the event is to discuss effective schemes of investment in services and infrastructure for virtual accessibility. Special attention will be paid to the current failure to meet the IT needs of both local administrations and citizens and businesses, especially in remote and rural areas.

The discussion will include the following topics:

  •          new investment schemes to promote more effective cooperation;
  •          the opportunities offered by cloud computing virtualization infrastructure;
  •          alternative models for offering IT services in the areas of reduced supply;
  •          legal requirements for the establishment of public-private partnerships.
