During the workshop were discussed the following issues:
- the potential of cloud technologies in terms of reducing capital costs and improved resource management;
- barriers and obstacles for cloud technologies adoption;
- cases and good practices for sustainability of European funded projects;
- legal framework, current policies, legislation and licensing;
- interregional cooperation and collaboration; exchange of experience, public procurement;
- new investment schemes and alternatives for provision of IT services in underserved territories;
- requirements for setting up PPP as a means to foster new investment opportunities.

On 12 May 2014 in the Regioan of Kyustendil, a workshop was held between the SECOVIA (South East Europe jointly developed Common advanced Virtual Accessibility solutions to support public services SEE/D/0094/3.2/X-SECOVIA) project team and representatives of the Municipality of Sapareva Banya and Boboshevo, with a subject “Public-private partnerships as a means to foster investments on virtual accessibility”.
